Research Interests

My research interests are molecular biology, molecular ecology, phylogenetics, population genetics, evolution and evolutionary ecology.

I work in the laboratory of molecular ecology. I use molecular biology techniques to identify species (barcoding) and to reconstruct the phylogeny of selected groups of plants and animals.

In my PhD, I am working on using methods of next-generation sequencing (NGS-Next Generation Sequencing) for the delimitation of species and reconstructing the phylogeny of subfamily Miltogramminae (Diptera: Sarcophagidae).
